  1. Yes to the oliso, I have owned two but before you purchase take a look at Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings and the Iron she loves…I think you can find a you tube reference and see it in action. Yes, Lisa is on you tube and I highly recommend that you subscribe to her feeds.

Yes to the wool mats. I own several sizes. Yes if you over due the water then you can get a smell but that’s dependent on your saturating the mat with water…notic we d I said water not steam. Also, check out Martelli as they have a full size wool mat that can lay on a large surface which is invaluable for all types of sewing. Heirloom and fine lace are my favorite and this large version has been invaluable

Yes, to the Taylor Clapper. I was to introduced as a kid when my parents used them in their upholstery business and have used them since for lots of things not just sewing.

All of these items are tools that help to create the best possible product to a person’s ability and in some cases help with our not so perfect attempts especially at seam matching.

I love your blog and enjoy reading….you look just fine. Wear what makes you happy and enjoy the moment.

Many blessings and have a wonderful day

    • Theresa, Thank you so much for all of your advice. Just what I needed. I quickly went out and looked at the steam station that Lisa Bongean uses. I’ll be doing more research!

I appreciate you letting me know that you read my blog and all of the information!

      Kathy
