Last year I spent a LOT of my quilting time working on this Dinosaurs Quilt by Elizabeth Hartman.

It was supposed to be my new grandson’s Christmas 2022 gift.

Never finished it until his birthday in May 2023. Not an easy quilt. So many bits and pieces.

I also wanted to make some pillow shams which were supposed to ready for his birthday, too, but they were delivered in time for Christmas 2023. I think I need to work on my projects timeline!

But here they are!

Two pillows!

One is a 24″ pillow sham and the other fits a standard bed pillow.

So is this a Brontosaurus, Apatosaurus, Diplodocus, or Brachiosaurus? (I actually did some research, they are all basically the same. Bigger, smaller, thinner, fatter.)

I’ll just call it Little Foot. (Or maybe I should say “very well loved by Mr. Arthur.”)

And we Facetimed a few days ago–Arthur is now into trucks!

Maybe a truck quilt for his fifth birthday!
