Living in Central Florida on brackish water gives me a unique set of circumstances in the world of gardening.

Too hot for hostas and too cool for tropicals.  I’m always looking for the perfect perennial that can handle the summer heat, humidity, and afternoon rainstorms and then survive a few freezing nights in February.  In addition we live close to the Gulf so the plantings have to be able to live in the salty air.
