Thanksgiving Meanderings
OMG! It’s Thanksgiving!
I love THANKSGIVING. Especially all the traditional yummy food. And spending time with family. This year we will be with the North Dakota family. Lauri, Alan, Riley, Piper, and Adley. Of course, Athena will be hanging with us, too.
I made that stuffed felt turkeys several years ago. I’ve sewn it back together many times since Athena claimed it as her toy.
It’s a free pattern from Delilah. So cute!
Thought I’d share a couple Thanksgiving blocks from years past since I have nothing new to show.
I made this one a from a quilt-a-long I participated in, “Fall Into A Quilt-A-Long.” I learned so much from this project. All of those tiny bits!
And here’s “Turkey Tracks” that I designed myself.
I had planned on remaking all of the above and didn’t budget my sewing time very well. Maybe I’ll do those next year rather than sewing all the Halloween fun. I think they would look great paired up with the four leaves I made last week.
I will be headed to DC in a few weeks for the Winter. We have a small condo. It does get cold there with the occasional snow storm but it is south of the Mason-Dixon Line (my interpretation of south) and I have my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson there. We will stay until the snow melts in ND. Possibly April. Or June. Who knows what climate change will bring us!
And
Happy Thanksgiving!
