Progress!
Like I posted last week, we came home to ND expecting a beautiful new kitchen but were greeted with chaos. At least the contractor warned me a few weeks prior to arriving so I was mentally prepared.
But now, all the cabinets are in and the countertops are ordered. Yippee!
Besides the kitchen, I intend to do a lot of gardening this year. It has always been one of my favorite pastimes but since we bought the house we have been concentrating on the interior. Happy to say progress is being made! My son Alan built this garden plot for me with intentions to make another one beside it next year. I like to start small! There will be tomatoes and peppers. Perhaps green beans. Definitey herbs for cooking.
It’s still too cold to work in my sewing studio but we do have all the parts to build a design wall. That will happen this week. (It’s supposed to be 60 on Wednesday!)

And I have decided on what quilt I’ll be making next! Cats in Pajamas! By Elizabeth Hartman. Because I need more cats in my life! I already have the fabric. Now to get to work!
Baby steps. But at least they are steps forward!
