This quilt has taken forever….but I’m DONE. I was thinking about all the steps to make a quilt from beginning to end. I’ve changed the name of my Summertime Quilt, It’s now HST Love, as in Half Square Triangle Love. Thought it was appropriate since it’s mainly HSTs. Top finished! It seems kind of odd to be calling this denim quilt a “summer quilt”. Summer quilts should be light and airy but this quilt will be neither light nor will it be airy. I managed to read two books this month. The first was “Bewilderment” by Richard Powers. The author is one that Margaret Atwood recommended in the book “Burning Questions: Essays and Occasional Pieces, 2004 to 2021”. I liked the writing style but didn’t like the story.
