Moda Blockheads 3 Quilt 1
Finished!
I read a lot of quilting blogs and I have recently discovered that there are photos that should be taken of every quilt. I have yet to be contacted by the quilt police regarding my lack of the required quilt snaps. I call them glamour shots which I now am putting under the proper headings.
The Full Quilt
The Binding
And this is why I didn’t have enough fabric to finish up my Moda Blockheads 3 Quilt 2. I used a yard of it for this binding. Still waiting for the replacement fabric to arrive!
The Quilting
I did really minimal quilting because I had so much trouble with my last quilt. This one is twin sized and for my next BH3 quilt, I plan to do a “Quilt as You Go” method. It will be queen sized and I don’t think I can handle something that large.
The Backing
The Quilt Swirl
I have never been able to get this quite right. Although once when I opened the washer after washing the quilt, it was a perfect quilt swirl. And I did grab a photo of it! This week I watched a video to learn exactly how to create the perfect swirl. One must get on the floor and do some swooshing. Getting on the floor still isn’t easy for me due to my smashed knee and subsequent pinning of said knee from last summer. This is the best swirl I could achieve. (And I tried several times!) This is a work in progress. Just like my knee.
Quilt Displayed on an Accessory
In my case it’s this beautiful quilt ladder that Terry and I made.

Cat on a Quilt
This one is my own category. Now that I have Miss Kitty there has to be a “Cat on a Quilt” shot!
And back into the creativity cabinet until this quilt finds a home.

Of course my favorite is Cat on Quilt! Love the pics. But be Cary with the swirl and I don’t think it’s needed. Very pretty quilt.
Terry
Careful not cary
Thanks Terry! The Cat on the quilt pose is definitely my favorite, too! Missed having a pet to take photos of and this one is very photogenic!
