Like I said on Tuesday, there are other projects I want to do besides the Moda Blockheads 3 quilt a long. And one of them is a pillow for my bedroom. And I LOVE block 5 so much, I used that pattern for that pillow!

I went with this color combo because it matches my “nap” quilt that I keep in my bedroom–for serious napping when I want it nice and quiet. I call it my Quilt of Many Colors and it’s one of the first quilts I made with Minky backing. So soft and snuggable!

If you are making this block, I strongly suggest you color in the area that is the letter. Makes it a lot easier to figure out which is background and which is a letter since it’s backwards.

I cut some batting a little bigger than the block and sprayed it with temporary adhesive.

Pressing after spraying makes a better bond.

I added some fun quilting around and in each letter.

I put an easy peasy envelope style back on.
