Let’s Go Tote — Sirena Summer Tote Challenge
The first tote is all finished for the Sirena Summer Tote Challenge!
I love it! Fun fabric and a perfect size. Not too big, not too small! And plenty of pockets for all of my stuff! I’m calling it the Let’s Go, Tote! Cause it just wants to go!
But before I go into the details, I wanted to put a Shout Out for SHARK WEEK!
I designed an easy peasy shark pattern a few years ago. You can whip one of these cuties up in an afternoon and have it watch all the fun shark shows with you!
We watched Jaws a few weeks ago. First time in many many years. It’s as cool now as it was when I was a teenager!
I designed these mermaids, too, but never posted the pattern. (Cause patterns and tutorials are a LOT of work!) Now that I’m making this cool tote from the Sirena line, kind of makes me want to go back and figure out how I made those mermaids!
Anyhow….back to the tote….
It’s 13 1/”2 high, 12″ wide, and 5″ deep. Not too big. But plenty big enough to carry what I need!
There’s two pockets on the exterior and in the interior a large water bottle pocket that will fit your Tervis water bottle (or bottle of wine!), a key clasp and a divided pocket.
The tote works well for grocery shopping too!
I should have just enough Sirena fabric to sew the second tote which I’m making just to proofread the tutorial that I’ll be putting out next week!
So……I will post the new bag as soon as I get it finished. Should be any day now! Then the tutorial will be up on Wednesday, August 1st!
The tote will also be on Pinterest with the hashtags #mysummertote, #agfsirena, and #sirenafabrics
The winner of the challenge is picked from the most likes on my Pinterest post from August 1st through August 5th and will be announced on August 6th. So you just need to go to Pinterest and like it!
Fun!
