Sunday started out rainy. And it continued. Giving me plenty of time to work on a design for a new bag. I wanted the bottom to be waterproof so I used the vinyl sheets from Pellon that you just iron on. All was going well until I was doing some pressing. I was being very very careful. But I needed to be every more careful cause I melted the vinyl–just a tiny spot–but it was enough to ruin the base of the bag. I had double-stitched that section to the top! So I spent some quality time with Mr. Ripper. Grumbling all the while.

Then Terry said, hey it’s not raining. Let’s go out on the boat. And we were out the door! Love the skies here and the constant changing of the clouds.

Made it home before the next round of storms hit.
