Happy Tuesday!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Terry and I visited Daughter Jes and her husband Andrew in DC.
By the way, that is not my cat in the above pic, that is Whiskey. Miss Kitty went to Pawville for a well deserved vacation. A two day drive was not a good idea for our sweet kitten.
I know she looks like she isn’t happy, but actually she is. Pawville is great. Sends me messages about her mood plus photos. This smitten kitten was semi-feral until she found me 6 months ago. She is happy to be housed, warm, protected from owls, and fed. And having said all that, I miss her and wish she could have come with us!
It was cold during several days of the visit. I didn’t bring the appropriate outdoor clothes and Jes suggested I wear her coats. Let’s just say I am not an XS so that did not work. But I brought lots of long sleeved shirts and sweatshirts, gloves, scarfs, and hats, so with all the layering it all worked out and I survived.
We hiked at Great Falls and watched some amazing kayakers actually take those rapids.
Did some shopping in Georgetown. There’s a Kitty and Cat petting cafe!
Ate a LOT of food.
I took lots of hand sewing projects for the two day drive. but other than those stitches, it was a vacation from sewing. You know I love all my projects but if I take a few days off, my creativity juices start flowing.
And OMG. All those Black Friday sales at all my favorite blogs and Etsy shops! I’m home and waiting for a few arrivals so I can start all those Christmas projects.
Let the holiday frenzy begin!

Glad you had good weather except for the cold.. great pictures. Cats always have an attitude when you leave them. See you soon.
Thanks Terry! Looking forward to your visit. Miss Kitty wants to me you, too!
