Living in Central Florida on brackish water gives me a unique set of circumstances in the world of gardening.
Too hot for hostas and too cool for tropicals. I’m always looking for the perfect perennial that can handle the summer heat, humidity, afternoon rainstorms, hurricane flooding, and then survive a few freezing nights in February. In addition we live close to the Gulf so the plantings have to be able to live with the salty air.

What a dreamy garden…lush and colorful.
Thanks Melissa. I’ve been working on this yard for 13 years. Still much more to do!
