Fall Into a Quilt-A-Long Block 3
I was supposed to have more on my “Crafty Bag” this past Tuesday.
Between construction going on in the backyard, meeting with contractors, doing my own bit in that mess to save money, budget meetings with the water district, spending time with family that visited….along with a 4-day conference in Orlando–that didn’t happen. Terry says that I try to put “10 pounds in a 5 pound sack”. Gotta do it! I have a lot of stuff I want to accomplish!
But sometimes reality hits me and I gotta say–I probably won’t get back to putting that tutorial together for my new tote for a few more weeks.
So I was a wee bit stressed trying to get everything organized but I find a few hours at my sewing machine doing some quilting usually makes everything okay! So I was really happy to slip away and finish block 3 of the “Fall into a QAL”. And I love how it turned out!
This is the “Bonfire Block” from Powered by Quilting.
Applique and flying geese! Fun!
I have three blocks done! Yay!
Only nine more to go!
Block 4 comes out next Tuesday. Should have a little more time in my sewing room by then!
