Christmasy Quilty Thoughts
EIGHT DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
And here is the progress on my “Shiny Little Things” quilt.
Basted. Ready for it’s first trimming. Then quilting. Then another trimming. And binding.
My sewing room has been a bedroom for the past 10 days so very little stitching has occurred. But I kept busy at lots of other fun events….
There was Cookie Day.
I was part of the team that organized and shopped for 56 Homosassa Children in Need, sponsored by the Homosassa Civic Club along with generous donations from club members and other community groups. The team also pulled together the Christmas party for the Children of Homosassa, (Also sponsored by the Homosassa Civic Club along with many gifts donated by the American Legion Post 166)
And I went to the Mouse Kingdom for three days.
I still have those 8 days left before Christmas! I have high hopes of finishing that Christmas quilt before Santa arrives! (Why oh why did I put that embroidery on there?)
I did get a lot of quilty projects finished because I started back in August!
Be Merry and Bright Christmas Quilt
And I have one more simple project that I’ll post on Thursday!
EIGHT MORE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!
