Handy Tote Tutorial
Finally finished the Handy Tote Tutorial and proof read it about a dozen times but I might have missed something. If you try the tutorial, let me know. Especially let me know if you find any mistakes! Yikes!
Like I said last week, this can be an easy-peasy tote. Just leave off the pockets, the key strap, and use cotton webbing for the handle. Very basic, but very versatile.
I like to add a little flair to the front pocket. My CriCut Maker is super great at making letters.
For this tote I had considered several different “deep thoughts” but ended up with “BE THE GOOD”. “LET IT BE” came in second place.
For the main part of the bag, I used a blue denim that I bought at Fabric.com to make aprons with. I haven’t made an apron yet but I’ve made at least three totes and my walker bag!
The quilting cotton I used is “Anagram Letters” by Kimberly Kight for Ruby Star Society for Moda. I love this happy print. I bought it from Fat Quarter Shop back in February and had no plans for it but it has been used in several projects and when I checked on it in the shop there was only 1.75 yards left! Glad I bought it when I did!
