Cha-cha-cha-changes…..
I’ve been away from my little blogging home for a few weeks but there is a good reason.
All kinds of changes happening.
We have decided to sell “Perfect”. Our home for the last 20 years. It was a very difficult decision but the right one for many reasons that I won’t go into on this post.
Rather than blogging, I’ve been getting the house ready for the market. Cleaning under cupboards, clearing out closets, working in the gardens, touching up paint, taking unused items to the thrift store.
Besides our own real estate agent, we’ve already had a “caravan” of realtors come through along with the professional photographer and received approval from all. I believe we are ready!
We first considered listing the house last Fall with the understanding that we would stay in Old Homosassa. We wanted a smaller home on one floor. And there were NONE. Actually there wasn’t ANYTHING available. So we paused before even signing the contract.
And there are still NONE. But we are taking a chance. If nothing comes on the market when our place sells, we will have a new adventure. Both Terry and I are okay with that. We will stay on the nature coast, but perhaps not in the Old Homosassa area. Should be interesting as to where we end up.
I was still sewing while I was getting the house ready because I had projects with deadlines. But I haven’t been taking any pictures or writing stuff down to use in posts. (I did finish my friend’s quilt and it’s being delivered today. More about that on a future Quilty Thursday Post.)
Hope you keep following along. I should have some sewing and quilting posts up soon!
